Overview

The Configuration Management Dynamics course provides in-depth details associated with that element of CM known as Configuration Change Management.  It covers the full spectrum from change proposal to change disposition to change implementation using what CMPIC believes to be the best practices model for understanding this complex subject.  Details will cover change workflow, change forms, change boards, change tracking, metrics and more. The role of automated tools in helping manage various aspects of Configuration Change Management will also be discussed.

Certification Requirements & CEUs

Students who attend CMPIC Courses 1, 2, 3, & 4 and successfully pass the exams will receive “CMPIC Certification” designating they have passed an approved course of study in Configuration Management Principles and Implementation (CMPIC). They will also receive 6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the University of Houston after successful completion of all four courses. CEUs are approved through the Division of Continuing Education and are University of Houston CEUs.
